“Passing through the area on our way to Coburg, we wanted to stop for a quick meal. My husband and I randomly parked on the busy Sydney Road to find this huge cafe bustling with people. Ideal place for a quick late lunch. Selecting randomly off the menu, we made excellent choices. The food smelt and tasted great.”

“Along Sydney Road, there are many different types of shops for both food and random gift items. A1 Bakery has a large but simple shop front with a few chairs and tables for outside dining. Its interior is very interesting as it acts as a bakery, cafe and a grocery store. You may say it has everything. The walls are decorated with traditional paintings and ornaments.

Food and drink are ordered and paid at the counters. When the food is ready, it is brought out to the dining area. Although it was very busy when we were there, there wasn’t a long wait for food which was fantastic.

Food was fresh and delicious. The pizza had a nice thin base with lots of fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the chicken wrap with the option of dipping sauce for both the chips and the wrap. Pickles were a colourful pallet cleanser as well.

Until our next visit.”
